So I was looking to add Firefox to my new windows phone. Heard great things about it. One problem, it's not there when I go to the app store. Every other browser under the sun is there, but the only "Firefox" browser is by unrated, apparently undownloaded, by Solution Labs, and it's $1.49 (I thought Firefox was always free). There are many, Many, MANY disappointments I've run into with changing to Windows, and I HIGHLY recommend against it. So is this just another one?

Firefox is only available for desktop on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux and mobile Firefox for Android 2.3+ on ARMv7 and Intel x86 cpu's.

Your right that Firefox from Mozilla is always free so when somebody is charging for a so called version of Firefox it is not from Mozilla or even not real.

hello, firefox is not available on the windows phone platform - in case there are any similar sounding apps in their store, these are not the real deal and should probably be reported for trademark misuse.

originally there have been technical and legal hurdles in the windows phone app store which discouraged mozilla from starting any developments in this direction. i don't know about the current situation, but since mozilla is now focusing its energies on creating firefox os as open source web-based platform, i doubt that you will see firefox on your windows phone device in the foreseeable future...
