Amazon keeps me logged in. I have deleted the old entry, because there was no way to edit the incorrect password. Assume that someday in the future the password is incorrect and Firefox won't update it. Is there any way to edit one of Firefox's entries?

Its your Cookie issue.

Firefox Menu > Options> Security

  • Password > Uncheck [ ] Remember Password for Sites.

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

My problem is not fixed. I tried it twice. The first time I hadn't noticed "clear save passwords". I came back and cleared it and then cleared the cookies and cache. I'm fairly sure this worked because Yahoo mail logged me out. I went back and "clear save passwords" was checked which is curious. I also started wondering it this my delete my other passwords. Could this be Amazon?

Send me, neilhmurphy@yahoo.com, a postal address and I will gladly send you the $5. I have had so much frustration and aggravation trying to use paypal that I just avoid it.
