Latest Adobe flash plugin not supported on Firefox for Ubuntu
Today I am switching to the Chromium browser as Adobe is no longer supporting its flash plugin on Firefix for linux (Ubuntu specifically). Hoping Adobe changes their mind. Firefox was great for years.

Adobe does indeed still support Flash on Linux, only it is the 11.2 ESR with security updates.
Adobe released a 11.2.202.425 update on December 9 along with the updates for Windows and Mac 16.0.0.235, 13.0.0.259 ESR and 15.0.0.246.

Mozilla has no plans to use the Pepper flash (that Chrome uses) with any Firefox version for any OS. Though there is a experimental wrapper freshplayerplugin to have the Pepper flash from Chrome to run in Firefox on Linux.
