Export bookmarks to html file does not export toolbar bookmarks

more options

Ages ago Firefox would export all folders and bookmarks but it seem like forever that I am loosing the toolbar bookmarks every time. This happens with every version of firefox, after new installations of firefox and after swiping my computer with clean installation of OS software to eliminate all possible issues with OS and Firefox software. Still no toolbar bookmarks after reinstalation.

Can you bring back that feature or help me? Scott

I can only relate my own experience, which is that I can find Bookmarks Toolbar toward the end of the export file, but before Unsorted Bookmarks.

Because the file doesn't have useful indenting, it is very hard to read the structure. I posted a little hack in this thread if you think it might help: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1034047#answer-660062

The bookmarks may have ended up in a Bookmarks Toolbar folder in the Bookmarks Menu folder (i.e. somewhere in the Bookmarks menu drop-down list).

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
