firefox 37.0.1 cannot load mozilla.org site if security.tls.version.max=3. It loads the site with security.tls.version.max=1
"Secure Connection Failed The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
If I change security.tls.version.max=3 to security.tls.version.max=2 than it loads the site, but it still breaks the site for uploading this ticket, which forced me to change security.tls.version.max=2 to security.tls.version.max=1

You can check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network : Connection > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
- Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
- Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate"
- Click the "View" button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.
You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the Details tab.
