Just updated Thuderbird, now cannot connect to Internet provider email account.

Removed mail account and tried to recreate it on Thunderbird. Errors on User name or password not valid when creating it. Can go on providers webmail and enter both and it works fine. Tried different combinations and even changed password on providers site and still no luck creating new mail account onto Thunderbird.
