When FF sync will become the sync? Is it planned at all?
Meaning, as any decent sync app/service - user decides A to B, B to A, or both ways diff or increment. Now it is complete mess, even if you create new sync account on A, then install fresh FF on B, sign in, and get fresh crap on your A. OK, Mozilla won't (can't) do it right way - no complaining (as free software) - just stop misleading people by pushing this mess on every Mozilla's page! I'm just tired of apologizing to all the friends whom I persuaded to install FF for lost bookmarks, extensions and customizations.

Hi
I do not know quite what your question is, but I will try to help.
Firefox sync is designed to synchronise the bookmarks across accounts (typically between Firefox Desktop and Firefox for Android, for example). It is designed to do this between both "A" and "B" at frequent intervals.
Whilst there are a few bugs in respect of data (bookmarks, add-ons etc) appearing out of order, are are not any known issues in respect of data being lost. It is important to recognise that Firefox Sync is not designed as a backup solution.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
Thanks for answer, Seburo. My question was: is it planned to upgrade existing "sync" (all in one heap) to real, controlled sync. Devs as always - keeps silence, but community, obviously, does not know. OK, I found EverSync add-on for my bookmarks and start page (but not extensions and FF settings, unfortunately) - enough for now.
Hi
That is a fair question, but one I do not know the answer to.
I do not like making assumptions, but I think it would be fair to say that ongoing work is a combination of fixing any bugs and developing new features as can be supported and people would like.
I doubt if the devs will be adding any controls to Sync 1.5, seeing that they removed the limited "direction" controls that were in Sync 1.1.
