I see Thunderbird 5.0 and 5.1 in my programs-can I delete older one?
in updating mozilla, i found 2 thunderbird versions in programs file, 1 dated Jan 20 and one Jan 31. Both are x86, but the older one is ...5.0 and the newer is 5.1. Any reason not to delete older version? (surprised that it didn't auto delete during install.) Win 7 pro Thanks judy

This is most likely a little flaw in the update process, which left the old entry there. Thunderbird isn't installed twice though. It's recommended to just leave it alone. You can check in your 'Program Files' folder if Thunderbird exists twice. If you attempt to remove one entry you'll likely uninstall the application, and would than need to download and install it again. Not worth the hassle.
