I cannot put a password into Thunderbird. There is no place to put in a password. Also, all of my previous passwords have disappeared. How do I put a password into thunderbird so I can access my email?

Is there any way to recover my old password information on firefox? How do I get Firefox to remember my new passwords once I input them and ask them to be saved?

Use this article to see the saved passwords in Thunderbird. You can remove them there and the next time a password is requested by a server you will get a dialog box to enter the password. https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=19006

Firefox is an Internet browser and has nothing to do with Thunderbird.

There are no saved passwords and there is no prompt to enter a password. Thanks for your detailed reply, but I do not get a prompt to enter password as described.
