Just like that a new version was installed on my computer alle emails gone a disaster

This morning i had no problem with thunderbird. A few hours later i turned on my computer a new version appeared(strange i did not ask for it ) and all my emails are gone. Normally all the the emails appear in the new version. This is a total disaster.
