I cannot get updates to install
it says I am not administrator so it does not install automatically. I download but it does not install to new update.

Since you are not an administrator of the computer, you'd need admin access to install the downloaded update. You would need to ask your system admin to allow you to install the update on your computer.
See if you can use the full downloader from Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
