RSS feeds under NEWS do not show tally of unread messages. Safari shows that. Why not Firefox 48.0.2?

RSS feeds do not show tally of unread messages. Safari shows that. Why not Firefox 48.0.2? We read 5 very active RSS news feeds. With Safari, when I look at the Bookmark drawer entry where they are found under NEWS, there is a tally number after each RSS feed showing the number of unread messages. Firefox does not show me this. There is just the RSS name, no tally. I must click and view each RSS to learn if there are any new messages. Is this something Firefox will eventually enable?

Hi

Whilst the feed tools in Firefox are pretty good, I appreciate that you may wish to have features that Firefox does not currently support. I recommend that you have a look that the Firefox Add-ons site.

I noticed that you are using an older version of Firefox. I strongly recommend that you update so that you have the latest security and stability fixes as well as new features. You can read more about how to update here.

I hope that helps, but if not, please come back here and we will do our best to help.

Thanks for the response. I'm using the latest Firefox version that will download to this computer, but that's not germane to my issue. I'll check the add-ons and see if there's one for this.
