Yesterday went to open some sites in my "favorites" and would not open. Received a "timed out" message, and couldn't connect to desired site. What is puzzling is several do open, but not all. Turned off computer, but same thing still happening today. Ran the troubleshoot on my microsoft settings but nothing showed up. Unsure if this is a browser issue or other?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

thanks, FredMcD...did try your suggestion (start in SafeMode) but it did not make any positive difference. It is still opening some sites, but not others. Did also run the Firefox troubleshoot program, but no results there either.
