Hi,

I did a fresh install of Firefox, but have lost all my bookmarks.... I downloaded Firefox for iOS and created an account, and synced up. My bookmarks were showing fine in it. In the meantime, the laptop got wiped and had a fresh clean Firefox install. Unfortunately I did not get a backup of my stuff (stupid, I know), but I did sync with iOS, thinking that would be enough. When I went to sync up the laptop Firefox to iOS, the password wouldn't work, so I reset it. I can now get into my account, but all of my bookmarks have disappeared. But they were there before :( And, when I look through my account, there are bits and pieces of URLs that I have visited in the past (way before any of this), so it's retained *some* knowledge. But it's like the password reset ate all my bookmarks or something...

Is there anything I can do to find my old bookmarks, if they had shown on iOS? Or will I have to start again from scratch?

There are several things that this could be.

Did you do a refresh? Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

In installing a new Firefox, the original profile may have been not found by the installer, so a new profile was created.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there?
