On my left Thunderbird panel, at the top, where the total number of unread messages are stated my "inbox(1)" always says that I have 1 message and in fact I do not. Why is this. How do I make the status say "inbox(0)" ? I hae checked all of my mailboxes and none of them have any unread messages.

You don't have an unread message in any of its subfolders?

There are some in my junk folder that are unread but that is all. This has just started to happen maybe a week or so ago. Perhaps a recent update has an error.
