I subscribe to a number of on-line publications and some of them always get marked as spam/scam. Is there a way to create a white list so this won't happen. (TB does a very good job of learning to recognize mail I don't want and sending it to my junk folder)

You need to be specific. You say "spam/scam" but the difference between the two is important.

If it's "scam" then it's likely Thunderbird is doing it and unfortunately the scam classifier is rather simplistic and can't be trained or whitelisted. You can only turn the scam classifier on or off.

If it's "spam" then something outside Thunderbird is doing it. You need to find out where this is happening and see what controls it offers. This may be your email provider or your own security software.

Thanks. Yes the problem is with the scam warnings. When I saw your response I realized that I had not noted the distinction between scam and spam. The spam, trainer works very well.
