SMS does not appear in the extensions. Cannot find the install button anywhere

As far as I know there's no install button at the bottom left. You should click the Gear icon and choose Install add-on from file, then browse to the downloaded xpi and choose it. Alternatively you can drag & drop the downloaded xpi on your add-ons manager.
