There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

You can copy cert9.db from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop to the current profile folder.
If you only have cert8.db then copy that file, but make sure that you remove an existing cert9.db in the current profile folder.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
