Ever increasing frequency of crashes - - - why?
I'm likely asking the same question as a million other users have before me - - - - except - - - - my computer has tremendous resources - - - like over 20 GB of ram and even with a paltry 4 windows (total) and maybe 16 or so tabs (its much more common for me to have 10 to 12 windows and up to 100 tabs on a window with about 300 tabs or so total except in switching from firefox-esr (52.9.xx) to firefox (61.xx) (trying to reduce the number of crashes!!!!!!!). When is firefox going to become more robust this crashing 3 to 10 times in a day is a royal pain in the you know where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI, usually it is Linux Video Card Drivers that are in really bad shape. Since you did not allow to share details I do not have anything to look at to say for sure, but as of late, experience is saying reinstall them.
Please include the bp- as per the picture and only need 5
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
Thank you for your help!
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
You bet - - - I get up to 5 or 6 crashes in a day. Generally I just dump the crash reporter information. As I have a seriously multi-monitor system re-installing nvidia drivers is a huge pita. Your suggestion would seem to suggest that I might be best off if I just didn't use the web anymore - - - then I wouldn't have to use a browser and then I just wouldn't need to worry about crashes.
If it is a known issue has nvidia and radeon been informed that their less than stellar software needs some work?
Can you please give the crash ID's? That will enable us to see what exactly is happening.
