Is it possible to copy/paste a hierarchy of email folders at one time (rather than folder by folder)?

I am migrating from one email host (without cpanel) to another (with cpanel). To preserve my email, I am using Thunderbird to copy all email from host A to host B. For some unknown reason, host A has stored my Sent mail in dozens of folders and subfolders by year and month. These are actual subfolders of Sent, not merely a visual sorting option. I have no idea why that happened, but there it is.

To avoid a tedious one-by-one copy/paste ordeal, I was hoping I could either just copy all sent items from all of those folders (I really don't need or want the year/month hierarchy) and paste them into the new Sent folder, or select all of host A's year/month folders/subfolders and copy them into host B's Sent folder.

Basically, I just want to copy/paste all the Sent items from host A to host B. I would appreciate any suggestions. If clarification is needed, let me know.

I think you could do this with ImportExportTools: after it is installed, right-click a folder, ImportExportTools/Export folders with subfolders (with structure). This will create a folder named foldername.sbd To import on another computer (or another location), right-click the destination folder, ImportExportTools/Import mbox file and select option in the attached picture to import the folder structure, then select foldername.sbd.

Thank you for that suggestion. I will definitely look into that tool. I have now done much of the drudgery manually because of time constraints, but I do appreciate your quick reply. Have a great day!
