It works here in TB 68.4.1/W10. Read the installation instructions carefully, and don't try to install it in your browser.

Thanks for the clarification..
I am having an issue with the manually sort folders option after the update to 68.4.1. I downloaded the xpi file an manually added to thunderbird. The problem I am having is not reordering my individual email accounts it is that setting "Local Folders" as the top folder isn't working. In the add-on options, the first tab has a dropdown on the right for "this is also the default account". When I set that to "local folders" it still shows up under an individual email account that I have setup. The text said I can override this setting by selecting "local folders" and it should appear at the top of the list.
I think the text in the add-on's window is somewhat misleading, as Local Folders cannot be set as the default account. If you select LF in Tools/Account Settings, then Account Actions, you will see that Set as Default is greyed out. It may have been possible in earlier versions, but now there is a bug where POP accounts don't download at startup if LF is the default.
If you have a long list of mail accounts and want easier access to LF, you could open it in a separate tab or window.
Yeah, it must be something with the new version of Thunderbird. It was working OK before with the plugin as that would override the "default account" option I believe since that can't be set in Thunderbird prefs. I have dug through the prefs.js for Thunderbird hoping something would jump out there. I am just picky when it comes to how things are ordered. I have all my work and personal accounts in Local Folders and one straggler POP account that I don't want mixed in and it used to show at the bottom of the list since I didn't care about it much. Now it shows at the top and is just an annoyance. I'll wait to see if the plugin developer responds. I see other reviews/comments on the plugin page saying it doesn't work - maybe the developer can figure it out.
