I tried moving a lot of messages from one folder to another, and Thunderbird crashed. I started it up again and finished the move, but once that finished, many of the messages were duplicated several times in the destination folder. The latest Remove Duplicate Messages (Alternate) add-on now supports TB 78.1.1. I installed it, and it solves the problem.
