I need to clear cached web content; Amazon Prime Videos won't open for me. I am unable to get into Firefox Browser in order to make these changes. All I access are articles telling me how to do it, but no access that actually allows me to do it. Thanks.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Do you mean that you can't open Firefox at all ?

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019":

You may not need the latter (32-bit version) if you use 64-bit Firefox. You may have to reboot the computer.
