Import my passwords from a *cvs file ~into latest Firefox~~ HOW TO DO THIS?
Help!!! I exported my passwords today to a *.csv file. I have been trying to import them to the same brouser. I have checked the box to allow me to work with the *cvs file (I think), but have not been able to import from the (backup) file I made.
When I activate the 'allow import of passwords' from a *cvs file on Firefox, my only choice is to import a *cvs file from Microsoft Edge, Google, or other (different) browser. My file is an up-to-date export of the passwords, etc, in a *.cvs file today (5 October 2021)
The file is from the current browser which is up-to-date and *.cvs file. It is an export from Firefox.
I need my passwords to do my homework, etc.
Please help me! I've spent hours on this already!!!
Thank you in advance.

I have used the following repeatedly. But at the 'end' when it says to choose, the only options are to import the Firefox data into a different browser (Chrome, etc.) This technique is found at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-login-data-file
To add the missing menu item, try the steps in the "How do I enable this feature?" section of the article. In detail, that involves:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste fileimport and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled preference to switch the value from false to true
Success?
