1password add-on / extension
Trying to install latest add-on for 1password in ESET Banking and Payment Protection Firefox browser. No matter how I try I get a message saying installation aborted add-on corrupt. Why?? I have contacted 1password and ESET and now Mozilla... I have this add-on installed in "regular" Firefox and it seems to be fine.

Finally! ESET has released updated BPP module (1256) and I was just able to install (and use) the 1password extension in BPP. (disabled secure all browser option in ESET, rebooted, opened BPP and installed add-on). See discussion in ESET forum (link posted above).
All is working well now!

thanks CraigS26. that post in the eset forum is from me (OP NanaT) and I am still unable to get it to work correctly in the BPP browser. I have checked multiple times to ensure that Firefox and ESET are up to date and rebooted many times. No matter how I try, the latest 1password add-on (which is compatible with the latest desktop app for Win10) cannot be installed in the BPP browser (per Firefox add-on page its corrupt?). So far only thing that works is to have ESET run all browsers in secure mode - not sure yet what issues may crop up working that way. I have been in communication with the folks at 1password and have posted here and on ESET as its not at all clear to me which is causing the issue!
In my bank's BPP Window and in its Settings/ Privacy-Security .... I DISabled Deceptive Content and Dangerous Software Protect and tried to install uBO = Corrupt popup. I can only conclude that BPP still sees any Addon Install as a Threat it is supposed to STOP.
The URL for the - Add uBO to FF - page in Addons is -- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/3886236/ublock_origin-1.40.2-an+fx.xpi -- and I TRIED to make that an Exception in -- Warn You When Websites Try to Install an Addon -- and couldn't make it Save.
IF you made a Tech Sppt Ticket request at ESET and they didn't help, I think we're doomed. IF it was Forum only, see if Tech Sppt will help. Good luck!
Tara, in case you come back ....
