I am having a great deal of problems with emails. I use Bt Internet and I have been for many years on Thunderbird everything has worked very well and until this Sunday (06/03/2022) it all died. Emails come in but I can not send anything. I reset the password at the Bt.mail and reset it on Thunderbird. Even worse. I try to reset the email and it keeps say that the outgoing or incoming it says either "Login to server mail.btinternet.com with username myname@btinternet.com failed." or "Incoming server already exists." So everything in the questions deals with Gmail. With this I do not have any problems. This Bt email address I have been using for many years so why now please? Thank you. Mike Update I can not seems to remove this question. However I have fixed the issue. It was my fault as I had added the same folder with the same same and everything so it 3 folders all the same and that why it thought I was sending something from the same address. Sorted.
