I am the 5 billionth searcher so I get a free prize!!!!!!!!!! NOT..................
I got a 5 billionth searcher scam site redirect... for some reason no script does not catch this. I have attached a picture of my addons, which are all recommended, and a picture of the scam page.
I have had this happen in the past and I have no idea why.
I am most worried about my passwords being stolen.
I am using linux mint 18.3 and have no idea how to check for malware.
Also, I should mention that when I use my landline to make phone calls (keep in mind that I am using DSL), I sometimes will get this odd redirect of my actual phone calls that will keep asking me about special offers over and over again. I called the phone company about it and they did nothing, after repeated calls..... but anyway, I wonder if that may be linked to the problem.
What should I do?

This was 100% FAKE
Mozilla (the makers of the Firefox web browsers) has no involvement with this Obvious scam. Mozilla is aware but only so much can be done when the domains may be disposable as was the case with the fake Firefox updates sites.
Variations of this scam that you have won a expensive Samsung or iPhone or a $1000 Amazon gift card (or a Samsung Tv in your case) has been posted about on forum for a number of years now, though not so common now days. It comes by way of a malvertising Ad and they hope to trick people into giving out personal details like name, address, phone#, email and credit card to pay the so called $1 or such cheap shipping.
Do not give them any personal information or send them any money by any means. Variations of this sort of scam has existed for a long time, not with mention of Firefox on it but in general. Nobody is going to send you a item that is worth say $1000 for only one or two dollars shipping cost.
Mozilla has done surveys over the years by way of http://qsurvey.mozilla.com which is surveygizmo.com however no prizes are given for doing them.
The only gifts I have seen from Mozilla were simple things like T-shirts and such given to say extension authors or such and never for something like expensive phones.
Oh and If Mozilla (the company that makes Firefox) was legitimately giving out prizes to random people it would likely be on a *.mozilla.org page and not some random weird url site.
