Full page screenshot in Firefox for Android
I use Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and I have noticed an issue with the long screenshot I would love some help with. As shown in this video, devices can make a full page screenshot in the settings. I have tested on my phone, and this feature works both in the settings and the Chrome app. However, I do not get this arrow pointing down on the screenshot preview in the Firefox app. Please share is it a bug or a functionality not supported in the app and if so, is there a chance of it being integrated. I really like the Firefox and the sync it has with my desktop browser, but this an important feature I use.

Hi
The screenshot tool that you mention is an Android or Motorola feature, not a feature of Firefox for Android.
You may need to raise this issue with the Motorola support team.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, it is indeed not a Firefox feature, rather an Android one. The strange thing is that it is only not working on Firefox. Tested with settings app, chrome, lidl plus, twich, outlook, every app (even non google ones) has this ability apart from the mentioned. This is why it rubs me that it is something regarding the app itself. Also tested on a pixel phone, which does not have the arrow but a capture now button as shown in this video. Arrow or button text, the difference is only stylistic depending on the OS skin. In Firefox, instead of the capture now button, there is a share suggestion.
Found another thread with the same issue and no fix.
There's no issues on CMO, only ideas for new features. Ideas with the highest number of votes are being analyzed by the dev team.
While the CMO is not for issues, it clearly depicts and issue that is trying to be regarded there by an idea or a feature. I have yet to receive an answer how to make a long screenshot of a page in firefox mobile, whether via an Android feature (that every other app can do) or a feature by the firefox app. How come all other scrolling apps (not just browsers) can take advantage of the Android feature, only firefox can't? Saying that the issue might be with the manufacturer or OS provider is just laughable. Waiting so long without a solution and seeing other users having the same problem unresolved, I might just have to find a new set of browsers for my pc and phone to use and sync. 15+ years user of firefox tho.
Hi
It appears that Firefox for Android does no support this at present, so suggesting it on connect.mozilla.org will be a good way for this to be considered for inclusion in a future update.
