Today I saw my firefox browser update. I have seen several firefox updates in recent weeks. I tried Truist.com today and I got into my account. So I am thinking firefox updates was the cure. I spoke with Truist a week ago and they contnued to say it is Firefox problem. Since I can access Truist on any other browswer I chose I say it was a firefox issue.

Issue is resolved by Fire Fox.

Did Truist work with version 102.15.1esr in the new profile though?

You can see and manage your profiles by visiting about:profiles in the address bar. You will not be able to open your original profile in 102 since it is from a newer version.

I downloaded 102.151esr and have now lost all my settings bookmarks etc?? I had to set up a new profile when I did. How do I get back to original Profile?

You didn't backup your bookmarks?

Firefox 67 and newer use a dedicated profile for each Firefox installation and lock this profile to prevent other Firefox installations from using this profile.

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know how this issue was resolved. Was it Mozilla who updated Firefox, or Truist who updated their software? Will we ever know?

You can test older versions with mozregression to identify the fix.

If this is not the appropriate place to post this please forward it to whomever might listen to the concerns.

I am using Waterfox and can't log into Chase bank which usually happens before a needed update, have to use Google Chrome, which I hate, when this happens. The reason now is Waterfox updated a few months ago and either Mozilla or Microsoft broke the UI. There are a lot of webpages full of ranting on the topic. The update made the pages in Waterfox and Thunderbird GINORMOUS so I went back to the previous versions until I have an extended amount of time to read all the different forums and figure out how to fix the UI so I can use these products that I have been using for decades, Thunderbird since 2006. I have already spent like an 8 hour marathon editing About:Config and some pixel line which only kept making it worse. I should not have to do this code tweaking and if it is because Microsoft changed their UI code in their platform so it works everywhere now and the 125% option is truly part of the issue which is what I read "SOMEWHERE", then I have to wonder does Microsoft sabotage things so we are pushed to use Edge and Bing with their creepy perverted AI Chatbot that I read came onto that Washing Post reporter.

The "SOMEWHERE" reference in the previous sentence is why I LIKE TO MAKE PDFS OF ALL WEBPAGES I NEED THE INFO FROM AND SAVE THEM IN A FILE SO I CAN FIND THEM AND PRINT THEM OUT AND HIGHLIGHT THEM WHEN I NEED TO STUDY THEM COZ COMPUTER SCREENS AGITATE THE HECK OUT OF ME WHEN IT COMES TO MEMORIZING AND REFERENCING INFO, BUT WITH THESE MOZILLA WEB PAGES THE PRINT FEATURE IS BOOBY TRAPPED SO PART OF THE PAGE IS BLACKED OUT AND THE PRINT ADD-ON "PRINT EDIT WE" IS GREYED OUT. Which I have noticed now happens on some webpages. I get real tired of living on this planet and always doing the right thing and being abnormally honest, then when I need info or need to function in some way I either can't or have to jump through rings of fire to try to get where I need to go because the world has built fortresses to keep out the human hacking and thieving trash. I need to start adding up the time I am now spending on a forced version of two step authentication from a lot of websites I am just trying to view never mind log into, and Waterfox and the lack of update may be triggering some of this stuff.

It would be really nice if I could save the information under this post, charge a small amount if you have to but don't make our lives more miserable than they already are please. My eyes hurt, I have a headache and am not in the mood to grammar and spell check anymore so excuse the mistakes or lack of paragraphs.

Thanks for your time.

I had this issue using Mozilla Firefox browser with Truist bank. I could sign in but page would not load. I could access with iPhone Truist app. I had many suggestions on this forum none worked. I could use Chrome so I switched to it. A month or two later after trying to use my favorite Firefox browser which I checked with weekly it finally worked and works today. I have no idea who fixed it. Truist says it was a Firefox problem because others had reported it. Mozilla said it was a bank problem?

This sounds familiar, I think other users had a similar experience of things suddenly working again. As you know, Firefox updates once, twice, three times a month, so it's possible a bug fix for something else resolved the issue (I don't think there is a bank-specific bug fix), but it's also possible that the bank modified how it sets its cookies to fix the problem.

Add-ons are not allowed to inject their scripts into pages on some Mozilla sites, including this one. The reason for that is that the site has special access to information about your Firefox (when you create a new question and you use the Share Data button, you can see what the site sees). Since you can't use an extension to clean the page, does it help to select the relevant parts of the thread, then right-click, and Print Selection? Maybe that will omit the problem parts.

If not, you could use the tool that I use to track and follow-up on my posts here. It has a highly simplified and compressed layout which might be more useful for PDF-ing: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/sumo/myq.html (on your first use, it asks for your forum username so it can find the threads you participated in; this is saved in local storage on your browser and not on my website)
