I am using Firefox v125.0.2. When I open a PDF in Firefox it takes a lot of time to load. But, when the same PDF opened in the Edge browser it loads normally and scrolling through PDF pages renders fast. I have shared the screenshot of a single-page pdf loading taking quite a long time.

Could someone please help me with this.

Well its just easier. All the time browser stays open. So, just to view the PDF I open there. If I need to edit or do some extra work then only I open Adobe. Why will I open Acrobat when I can simply view the PDF in any browser which is open. Hope it explains yours query.

You failed to provide sys info? Most important info is the hard drive, M2. or old Sata? The only thing that needs some fixin round these parts is for the users to upgrade to a newer computer. LMAO

UPDATE: I was wrong.  ;-)) After clearing caches and testing with profiler and a stop watch, on this old system with sata drives... it took about 34-36 seconds to open in Nightly (current version) on this old laptop. see sys info Notice the processor is the next gen from avisekn's. Avisekn, you have not provided info on the type of hard drive(s) your laptop is currently using. IMHO if want better performace, it's time to get a newer computer.

Why not download it to a different directory and test it now. You have no idea when this "fix" will be released.

The first test with Nightly it was around the same time, but after clearing caches, it took much longer.
