Firefox tries to close everything after I close a popup window
If I click on a link that opens up in a separate, smaller window (for example, some websites have "Click here for large images" that, when you click the link, opens up a larger image in a popup window), whenever I try to close that popup window, Firefox always tries to close my main window twice.
For example: I navigate to a site that opens up a popup window => I close the popup window => The popup window only closes => The main window of Firefox then brings up the notice to either "Save Tabs and Exit", "Exit", or "Cancel" => I click "Cancel" => The main window of Firefox then brings up the notice again => I click "Cancel" a second time => I then am able to resume browsing as normal.
It is getting pretty annoying. Please help.

Every time Firefox opened

I can reproduce the issue every time in 3.6.10:
I go to this site: http://www.playoutdoors.com/product/deuter-rain-sun-cover.aspx
Click on an image of the product on the right, it spawns the new window, I close the spawned window and it closes all of my Firefox windows (spawned window and the main window).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
The culprit is Microsoft's HTML5 extension for WMP player plug in 1.0.
I uninstalled it and it fixed everything
