When I go to http://gamersunite.coolchaser.com/message/need_fb it keeps refreshhing and when I hit the X(stop) button I am not able to do anything.
I have a Facebook.com account and I have to log-in almost every 5 seconds. It gets very annoying. I have made another user onmy computer and it doesn't do anything like that. I also play FarmVille on Facebook.com and there is an Addon for this toolbar so that you are able to snag items from your wall. When I go to the gamebar settings it asks me to "Connect with Facebook" I can't because the page keeps reloading and when I click the X(stop) button I try to click the "Connect with Facebook" and it either won't connect or it keeps refreshing again. Please help me...Thanks!

Hello Holly.
Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at getfirefox.com.
As for your issue, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode and select Disable all add-ons. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.
Your plugins list shows outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.
# Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22
Update the Flash plugin to the latest version. See http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
But I have the same problem and I use the lastest version of Firefox ( 3.6.3 ), what can I do?
Cheers,
Have you read my post above, Jo?
Hi Morbus, yes I reed and do it all the instructions, but It´s the same... I already uninstall Firefox e install again but I can reach this page...
Cheers
João, does this happen on other browsers too?
Morbus, I tested in IE 8 and it´s the same :(... Have you any suggestion to me?
Cheers,
If it's a problem across different browsers, it not a problem with Firefox itself. It's probably something wrong with the site.
Don't use GU! problem solved, fair play!
