Firefox says "Unable to Connect" to two specific websites
I cannot access two site through Firefox, one is facebook.com. The message says, "Problem Loading Page. Unable to connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.facebook.com...." Another website is a Proboards site. I can get to proboards.com, but the specific board I want to access. I am able to get to all other web pages except these two. I am also able to access these websites from other computers using the same internet connection. I have disable all add ons and uninstalled all antivirus software. Firefox is checked as an exception to the Windows Firewall (I even tried turnign off the Firewall to see if that would work, but it did not)

Server Facebook blocked your IP so you can use DSN Google to access internet easyer and faster. With this DSN you access any website including Facebook. Setting DSN Google:Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Network->Click right-mouse chose Properties->Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties->Use the following DNS server addresses-> fill Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 and Alternative DNS server: 8.8.4.4 and final Click Ok->Ok.
Thanks. I tried that but it did not work. I am able to get to Facebook.com and the proboards site through the AOL browser, just not the Firefox browser. So it is something specific with Firefox.
I think you should reinstall Firefox again or you can try Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and disable all add-on. Good Luck !!!
Good idea, I think I will reinstall it, thanks!
I was very happy to help you!
