Crashes on MANY sites, supposedly (info given via Firefox "about...") Firefox 3.6.16 w/Mac OS 10.6.16. Even crashes on Firefox sites to check add-ons and extensions and other help areas. (But add-ons, ext. checked OK using Safari to access.) Happens since auto update of Tab Sort 3/26. Get box, firefox crash.tiff, saying report will be sent to Apple, lots of data in box, but choice to restore doesn't work. That leads to box saying "It's embarrassing, but..."

HELP, please! Firefox currently unusable, including work-related bookmarks.

You will need to clear any Font conflicts. This has resolved this issue for most users.

Refer to Apple here to assist with resolving font issues within Font Book

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=FontBook/2.2/en/5285.html

follow this links advice and resolve all font book issues... Start by performing Resolve Duplicates on any fonts flagged by the yellow triangle or any red circle X font issues and see if that clears your issues.

Enjoy.

This did not solve the problem, but it sure did confuse Office 2008 with the font changes.
