Sorry, I don't quite understand. You're expecting an email so that your account can be authorized. You mean on this forum or somewhere else?

Hi I wanted to open an account to the Firefox home page to enable me to download add ons and change the appearance of my site, I have now had three attempts and the last one, using another user name and password was successful, I did get an email address which I had to reply to, which did enable me to join. Thankyou for trying to help, Regards Richard

You don't need an account to download Add-ons, it's only necessary if you want to post your opinion about them.
