how do i delete browsing which was not done in private browsing

this is an example- when i type the letter 'r' in the firefox page immediately 'redskins' will show up down below as an option since i previously searched for the redskins without being in private browsing. how would i go about deleting history like that which was not done in private browsing?

Try the steps below:

Click on Firefox (In the orange tab) > Options > Options. Click on Privacy and then click on "clear your recent history." Here you will have many options to choose from. In order to clear your searches just make sure that the Forms & Search History box is checked and then click on Clear Now.
