Firefox saves all downloads and I no longer have the option to open the download.

I want downloads to automatically open. Apparently I hit the "always do this" button for save downloads so now I do not have the option to open the files on download. How do I get this back? Using an 1 year old iMac with OS 10.6.8 with Firefox 3.6.23.
