After a forced shutdown Firefox [3.6!] disappeared from my emac [OSX 10.4.11]. My operating system doesn't support the latest version of Firefox, what can I do to reinstate Firefox to my computer? It has also disappeared from my laptop of similar vintage.

There is nothing more I can add to the question except that I also use Safari. The main problem is that some people send me attachments and links that require Firefox to open. And in other ways Firefox is sometimes better to use than Safari.

I do not use Mac s and maybe there is some reason for this and a simple setting to change, if not maybe some of the general information is of help
