Firefox quits unexpectedly immediately, without opening a window, when icon is clicked. Any help would be appreciated.

Icon is not Firefox icon, but a piece of paper with a pencil, ruler, and paintbrush. Have created a new profile, didn't work — opens when I use the Terminal, opens in Safe Mode, am using default theme, still won't open with add-ons or plug-ins disabled. It does not seem to be submitting crash reports, from what I can see (admittedly I have very little idea what that means/what I need to do).. The "Problem Report" that pops up when it asks if I want to send a report to Apple says: "Dyld Error Message: unknown required load command 0x80000022."
