So recently my address bar has started acting up, I can figure out what it is for the life of me. I backed up my account and then uninstalled firefox, then reinstalled again. The address bar only allows 21 characters, you can type more and the characters still register you just cant see them. Here's a picture to show you guys. http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae336/xMuLLiGaNx/Capture_zps8bee46a5.png

Hope you guys can help! Thanks!

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

I have figured out and came to conclusion the HP Simple Pass extension is what is causing it to do this. I want it disabled or uninstalled from just firefox but when I disable it, it messes with the address bar
