On one site, Mozilla Firefox doesn't remember my Password any more, but Internet Explorer does.
Yesterday, I accessed the website for my bank. I entered the account #, then the password. I received an error message on the password, although I was almost sure the password was correct. I clicked "don't remember password" and was given the very password I had entered. I was really puzzled, but tried it again. It still didn't work. I then tried Internet Explorer at the advice of my bank rep. I created a new password on Internet Explorer, and was able to get right through to the website. Later, I tried Mozilla Firefox again with the original password. Again, the password was not accepted, but when I asked to access the correct password, I was given the new password I had entered on Internet Explorer. I'm very confused. Please help!

Hi Mez1115,
After you changed your password, the OLD password is no longer valid. You must use the NEW password to access your account, regardless of the browser you use.
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
