Cant uninstall Mozilla on Macbook Pro

I recently installed Mozilla Firefox to my Macbook Pro. I now wish to uninstall it. I have deleted all folders and files relating to Mozilla. Then dragged the icon from the Launchpad to the Trash can but it wont move. I tried to do the same with other icons and they work fine, its just Mozilla. What am i doing wrong?

Hello kelarmer, do you also remove the plist file in ~/Library/Preferences ?

also seek in ~Library/Application Support/Firefox (If you want to remove and user data and settings)

Thanks for your reply. But there are no files relating to mozilla firefox there.

Hi, from Menu Bar > Go menu > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Preferences you don't have a file org.mozilla.firefox.plist ?
