I cannot use firefox to search the internet using google. None of the buttons work (enter after I type a keyword or the search button)

After I installed League of Legends, my search change to AVG. I uninstalled AVG and that's when FIrefox stopped working. I would type in the Firefox search field then hit "Enter" key. Nothing would happen. Then I tried typing in the same field and clicking the "search" button. Again nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and still the same problem.

hello, please try to reset firefox and see if this can address the issue...
