Since I upgraded to version 23 I started having a problem ONLY with my Gmail. I can sign in on my google account, G+, youtube and all other google stuff normally . But when I enter my username and password in Gmail sign in, the page begins to load but it freezes up half way though the process! ..and it just sits there... I cant even switch to it from google account, starts to load and then it freezes up again!

I have tried every thing I could think of... reloading, updating plugins and safe mode. Gmail works on other browsers like Chrome but in Firefox NO!

Does any one have this problem? Does any one have any suggestions? What do I do? Thank's in advance!

hello mr.ignor, try to clear the cache & cookies from google.com and reload the page.

in addition enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server - right-click and reset that entry to the default value.

WoW ! Thank you philipp ! You are my hero of the day ! Worked like a charm. Just wanted to add that that last thing you mentioned with "about:config", as I can recall that seting was made by TuneUp auto manteniance program and that was probably the problem... any way I change it now and every thing is fine now! Thank you again! PEACE!
