What does this mean: Crash ID: bp-8ddcdcf0-cd6b-4a46-aea2-0efe92131009?
Firefox crashes within 5 seconds of launch, can't go into safemode, tried uninstalling and deleting program dir, reinstalled and still no luck; all i have is crash ID with no details; is there a way to determine problem based on crash ID?

Thank you for posting your crash ID. When I review it, there is a link to a bug that mentions it happens on systems with a SpectorSoft product (e.g., Spector or eBlaster software) installed. This is a kind of monitoring software that could be used in a home or office environment. It isn't free, so hopefully if you have this software installed intentionally, you can get support on this issue. If you don't know why this software is installed, can you think of anyone who would want to monitor your internet usage?
Can you start Firefox in its Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
Hold the shift key while double-clicking the Firefox icon. You should get a small dialog. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset). Any difference?
I don't know whether installing Firefox 24 will help, but if you want to try that, you can download it here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ (choose your language from the Windows column). No need to remove Firefox 23 before running the installer for Firefox 24.

Here is a link to your crash report: bp-8ddcdcf0-cd6b-4a46-aea2-0efe92131009
It seems like this is a known bug caused by a third-party software called SpectorSoft.
There is already a bugreport you can check: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=917450
As the bug report has low priority there probably won't be a fix in the near future. Temporary solution might be the uninstallation of the third party software.
//edit: lost race ;) Bug report was created for 24 branch so this issue will still exist after upgrading to FF24

For future reference, when you post here, any crash ID in a post should turn into a link: bp-8ddcdcf0-cd6b-4a46-aea2-0efe92131009
Note: important clarification in the next post

To be more precise: only crash reports that start with a "bp-" prefix are turned into a link via a script as those are more likely to have been submitted and also to avoid problems with a GUID of an extension or that have a similar format (classid).
