Firefox crashes
Firefox seems to crash without warning (no hanging at all, no warnings), and seemingly not due to any action (can be in the middle of clicking a link, or watching a video on any website). It happens fairly regularly, every half hour or so, but randomly.
It was happening with version 25.0.1 and still with 26.0 (just updated)
Running a few popular addons (all updated), but disabled a few unneeded/unsupported ones, and issue still occurs.
Not sure if it's a memory issue (as I like to use a lot of tabs at once), but on another computer I've adjusted memory settings in firefox to overcome previous hangs/crashes (that occurred anytime the browser was left running for an extended time).
Are there settings that might overcome this particular new issue on this computer?

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- On Windows you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by quitting Firefox and then going to your Terminal and running: firefox -safe-mode (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

Those crashes are caused by Windows running out of memory System Memory Use Percentage is around 90%
You can try to increase the size of the page file (at least 4 GB) as it doesn't seem to be very large.

that's a flash player crash. i know i use to get all kinds of other crashes along with plash player crashes; totally random, however i resolved the flash player crash and have not had one in over 6 months since my script has been running
Carm, sounds reasonable, but how can I resolve flash player crashes (I regularly update Flash), except for deleting it completely (not really an option when Im on youtube/many other sites every day?)
Meghraj, this did not solve problem, same symptoms occurred, although possibly slower (though I dont have the time to test this over several weeks).
cor-el, I updated page file size just then. Too early to tell if fixed, but I'm hopeful that correctly identified the issue as per error messages.

The script does not resolve ALL Flash player crashes, its seems to be only to some that could be related to random crashes, longtime use then crash related. I know for sure it will NOT resolve crash upon startup problems.
You might want to try to use the firefox profile manager, and make a new profile. Simply run Firefox.exe -p ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles )
Firefox has to be closed as well.
You can back up your history,bookmarks, and passwords using MozBackup. just DO NOT backup your extensions. Just import them into your new profile. ( http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ )
As a side note I did find an article out there related to flash crashing that I am currently testing without the use of my script. All I am saying related to this is that everyone is pointing to flash as the culprit, and that might not be true, as other browsers like chrome do not suffer like this.
This was asked by a few people awhile back in the forum, and moderators/whoever seemed to sidestep the question like i see a lot of, simply were clueless how to do it or, just stated it is not recommended and didn't provide the correct answer to doing it.
So far I have been running with what the article says to do now for about 1 day and have been doing my best to stream content all the time in flash, close/re-open the browser, and testing various other things. So far ZERO issues. I am not willing to give this up in ANY forum as i seem to have someone on here following me on the internet/other forums which is NOT cool!
I will post my results when I am ready for people to try, but have no doubt that some of the big contributors/moderators will say not to do it. ( Kind of like my script ). I can offer the script link in a PM if you want as the mods are crying to me about posting it.

After changing the page file, the crashes seem less frequent, although still occur, and with the same randomness and instantness (no warnings/slow downs).
