session restore sessionstore.js
I launched firefox and i closed the browser before restoring preivous session, now the next time i lounched it when i press restore i get the blank google page.It seems the session file has be overwiten with the google 1 tab session.I have replaced the session.js and bak file with a bakup thats one day old. When i started firefox the this is embarrsing page came up and i was able to restore. by replacing these 2 files did it affect anything else? Does the js file get reset evertime you close you browser. I'm worried that by replacing the 2 files i might have lost other data.Does the file get reset anyway when you close your browser and luanch again?

I had 14 tabs, i closed firefox and went to sleep. next day i opened firefox and accendently closed it without restoring prev session.I lounched it agian and pressed restore prevous session but it came back to the empty session the one which i closed.seeing both the seesionstore.js and bak both had low kbs i knew it had been overwritten, so i replaced both these files with the latest backup i had, a day old one. What does the js file contain? By replacing did i lose bookmarks, seached text, ect.Does the file get reset if you don't restore preous session each time. What does the seission file contain and did i lose any other data. I noticed on youtube its asking me about service cookies.I get this message on private browsing not on regualer browsing. Is this beacause somthing got reset by changing the session file.

The sessionstore.js file only stores data about the currently open tabs including App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups and closed tabs and windows. Cookies used by those tabs may be stored as well as part of the session data, but other data like bookmarks (places.sqlite) and saved form data (formhistory.sqlite) is stored in other files.
So did i lose anything by replacing the sessionstore.js file? does The file get reset anyway when you close and open without restoring prev session? So nothing got lost? Technical info will help
No, it is not very likely that you lost anything apart from the tabs that were open before restoring the session from the sessionstore.js file. You can bookmarks such tabs if you would like to keep them for future use (visit).
the session.js gets reset to the last session if you close and open without restoring prev session.is this true?
The only thing i lost is the session back to the point of the backup up.Does the file anyway get reset, so by changing the js i did no harm or loss to anything else.
