How can I automatically click on a newly uploaded work notification hot link if I'm not at the PC when it appears? I need to lock it in quickly.
My client notifies a group of us of the availability of a new job by posting a hot link on a dedicated website. Whoever clicks the link first, gets the job that it links to. I'm not always monitoring the website and am wondering if there's a way to automatically click new hot links that appear on the client's page so it locks the linked jobs for me?

Your talking about the content of a web page? You would have to sit at the computer and always press the page reload button. The only thing I can think of is to have an e-mail sent to your cel phone.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.
Some extensions that you can look at:
Thanks for your reply, but I don't think it's what I need.
I have a program that auto-refreshes the page every second. If I'm sitting in front of the browser when the new link appears, I click on it and get the job. But, I'm not always sitting at the browser.
I also get an e-mail whenever a new link to a job appears, but the e-mail lags by a minute or two, and by the time I get it and get back to my screen, someone else has clicked on the link and taken the job.
I need something that recognizes that a new link has appeared on the page, and clicks on it automatically, to lock in the job.
Hmmm. Not making myself clear. I already have ReloadEvery, but that program only quickly brings my client's newly-uploaded work link to the screen, it doesn't also open the link. I need something that opens the link, thus locking the job in for me, and doesn't just only bring the link to the screen earlier.
