The filters I set up to send emails to folders only seem to work for a short time.

I recently started using Thunderbird. I set up folders to organize my incoming emails. I set up filters to send the emails to the proper folder. They worked for a day or two. Now some filters work and others don't. Is there a limit on how many filters can be used?

Had someone here last week with a couple of thousand filters. My guess is your problem will be timing.

Try creating an exception in your anti virus program to prevent "on access" scanning of files in the Thunderbird profile folder. My guess is instead of mails being moved the filter fails as the store file is locked by the anti virus scanning that change. That is probably why they work for a few days, until the scan starts taking to long on that folder.
