I have set my Thunderbird so that it deletes all my deleted mails from Hotmail Server when I empty my deleted folder in Thunderbird --- But some how Thunderbird is not deleting the deleted messages from the Hotmail server and the same deleted message will again be downloaded by Thunderbird not only one time but it will download that deleted message several times. Sometimes 3 to 4 times. I have to then delete all these messages again but within minutes they are again downloaded by Thunderbird. I think there definitely is a bug in Thunderbird and this must be resolve in future releases of Thunderbird. In the meantime can somebody help me resolve this problem? PLEASE somebody HELP me.

Is it a POP-connected account?

I've seen a lot of reports about trouble with Microsoft's email services, and users over on the newsgroup have been reporting this issue with other POP-connected accounts. Some, if not all of the elements of these problems may be at the server and not in the client. We just don't know.

As an aside, do you use anything such as CCleaner?
